John and I had a great vacation. We started out in Newport Beach, CA at the Marriott. Some wonderful friends of ours set us up on the 16th floor Presidential Suite! It was amazing, it had living room, kitchen, dining, guest bath, and master suite, with 2 plasma TVs and a fireplace, plus a very long balcony overlooking all of newport and balboa island! take a look!
The saturday night after the wedding, we were thinking about eating dinner down in Newport or Laguna, but then we realized that we couldn't be our view, so we ordered from the steakhouse downstairs. It was amazing!
The next morning we woke up early, jumped in our rented H3 and headed to LAX. We got to the airport had some minor problems...haha, not really, John ended up being on a no fly list? whatever that means, luckily we were able to leave the country, but apparently it is only by them checking with Homeland Security. Real fun! But we made it to the plane and headed to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico!
this a pic of John stuffing his face at the Mexican restaurant. Surprisingly it was our favorite place to eat and I think most of you know I am not a fan of Mexican food, but it was delicious! There was a steakhouse, italian, seafood, mexican, and a world cafe that had everything, plus 24 hour room service! Let me tell you All-inclusive is the way to go!
us on the beach!
us under a little hut!
After the 7 days we knew we needed to head back to reality. We got picked up, headed to the airport, and stood in line to get home. Yes, they had to call Homeland Security again, and fortunately they let us get back into the country! The best part was, the way home we ended up getting first class! It was awesome!
